Marilyn Kay Dierauer was born March 6, 1954 in Menomonie, WI to David and Elaine (Seipel) Dierauer. She grew up in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1972.
Marilyn was married to John Hoyt for the past 31 years. Together they enjoyed traveling, antiquing and spending time with their children and grandchildren. She had two children and three stepchildren. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend to all that she knew.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, John of Menomonie; Two sons, Jeremy (Kari) Guth of Mondovi and Jonathan Hoyt of Menomonie; stepchildren, Melissa (Alan) Childs of Red Wing, MN, Brian (Billie) Hoyt of Menomonie and Brad Hoyt of Menomonie; she is also survived by nine grandchildren; her father, David Dierauer of Menomonie and three siblings, Julie Dierauer of Durand, Greg (Donna) Dierauer of Menomonie and Nancy (Brian) Adams of Franklin, WI as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elaine Dierauer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastor Keith Schleis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be visitation from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the church on Friday.
