WRIGHT, Elsa Brockman Hanna, 88, born September 17, 1908, died October 28, 1996. Survived by daughter, Lilian (Hector) Manciet of Tucson; and son, Edward "Waggo"(Evelyn) Hanna of Gilbert, AZ; grandmother of Lorraine Manciet, Katie (Patrick) Frey, Patty (Allen) Burkhart, Larry (Melissa) Manciet, Eddie (Janiece) Manciet, Lanny (Jim) Trumble, Louis Hanna, Andy (Samantha) Hanna and Gail Hanna; and great-grandmother of 18. Mrs. Wright was a lifelong Arizonan, graduating from Florence Union High School and receiving bachelor and masters degrees from the University of Arizona. She had a long career which included teaching English and Spanish and working in the City of Tucson Clerk's office before serving as Clerk of the Pima County Board of Supervisors for 19 years prior to her retirement in 1975. Mrs. Wright had a great appreciation of nature, books and art. She was much loved and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the American Heart Association. Friends may call Friday, November 1, 1996, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., where services will be held Saturday, November 2, 1996 at 11:00 a.m.
