She was born July 25, 1930 in Hazlehurst to A. J. and Sally Nations. She had lived in Texas for the past 19 years. She worked as a seamstress for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Barlow, grandchild, Andy Barlow, brother, Howard Nations, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
She is survived by children, Marguerite Clem, Tommy Barlow and wife Patsy, Billy Barlow and wife Linda, and Celia Daughdrill and husband Billy Joe; 8 grandson and 21 great grandchildren.
