Roger L. Tyler the son of Oscar and Veda (Wilson) Tyler was born November 10, 1933 at Guide Rock, Nebraska. He departed this life on Monday November 8, 2010 at the Nebraska Veteran s Home in Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 76 years.
Roger grew up in the Edgar area graduating from Edgar High School. He had worked in the oil fields as a laborer. Roger had retired to the Hastings Good Samaritan village and failing health had taken him to the Grand Island Veteran's Home. Roger served with the United States Navy from December 2, 1955 to September 3, 1957 and remained with the Naval Reserve until December 1, 1961.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Robert, Gerald, sister Yvonne Scroggins.
Survivors include his sister Carol Fenimore and husband Dean of Superior, NE; nephews James and Mike Fenimore both of Superior, NE other relatives and a host of friends.
Services are pending at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Superior, NE
