Robert E. DeLoach, Sr., 81, passed away April 11, 1998. A native of Savannah, Georgia, he lived most of his life in Jacksonville. He served his country in WWII and retired from the City of Jacksonville, Building Department, and later from CDI marine. He is survived by his wife, Ann Vadnais DeLoach, three children, Robert E. DeLoach, Jr., of Macon, GA, Allen Wayne DeLoach, of Buffalo, NY, and Patricia Ann DeLoach Young, of Hoover, AL a granddaughter, Alison DeLoach Cures of Jacksonville, step-son, Ed Vadnais of Lancaster, CA, two nieces, Shirley Straub, of Middleburg and Louise O'Hara, of Jacksonville, as well as several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 1998, at 2:00 PM at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Tom Cody officiating . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to resurrection Catholic Church, Building Fund.
