Bruce Dwain Kelley, 57, passed away October 3, 2013 at home in Hutchinson, after a brief battle with cancer. he was born March 30, 1956 at Camp Chaffee, Fort Smith, Arkasnas, to Owen and Violet Kelley.

He grew up in Pratt and Hutchinson, graduating from Hutchinson High School in 1974. He attended Hutchinson Community College before joining the Navy in 1976 where he served all over the world for 23 years, retiring to Winfield, where he worked as a security guard for General Electric.

He never married and was an avid reader and fisherman.

He is survived by a brother, Mark, Hutchinson, and a cousin, Larry Oglesby, Winfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Hervey and Zelma Kelley, grandfather, Toldie Dennis "Boog" Oglesby, and grandmother Mollie Mays.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Inurnment will be at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery in Winfield. Memorial may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Folds of Honor.
