ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Rhonda Montgomery Ivey, 49, of 1597 Clarendon Place died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at Agape Rehabilitation Center. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Drs. Shelton P. Sanford and William A. Fox Jr. officiating. Burial will be at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Hills Cemetery. A native of York, Mrs. Ivey was a daughter of Edward and Juliet C. Montgomery of York. She was a homemaker, was a graduate of Winthrop University and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she was a former nursery supervisor. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, James Frederick "Freddy" Ivey; her son, James Frederick Ivey Jr. of the home; her daughter, Anna Gray Ivey of the home; and two brothers, Keith Montgomery of Oklahoma and Kevin Montgomery of York. The family will receive friends after the service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the James and Anna Gray Ivey Care and Education Fund, c/o Bank of America, 1165 N. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel is in charge.
