Born October 6, 1955 in Aurora, Illinois, she was the daughter of Leo L. and Jo Ann Foster Shride.
Suzanne was a graduate of Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Charlotte, N.C. and was an ICU nurse.
She was of the Nazarene faith.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Jesse Morris of Blue Ridge, S.C.; three sisters and a brother, Anne Shride Penland and husband, David, of Simpsonville, S.C., Julie Shride Merriman and husband, Dan, of Greenville, S.C., and Kelli Shride and Brian Lee Shride, both of Atlanta, Ga.; two nieces, Lindsey Merriman and Sydney Marie Penland; three nephews, Andrew Merriman and his wife Kati, Ross Penland and his wife Holly, and Cody Penland; and a great-nephew, Jack Merriman.
Services will be Thursday, July 26, 2007, at 11 a.m. at The Mackey Mortuary with Rev. Ellis Beddingfield officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.
