FINAL RITES HELD FOR S.W. SMITH
Funeral services were held at 1p. m. Yesterday at the Crab Orchard Baptist Church for Sherman W. Smith, 53, former resident of Beckley who died Saturday in a Marion, Va., hospital after a long illness. The Rev. Shirley Donnley officiated.
He is survived by one son, Andrew of Mullens; two daughters, Virginia, of Affinity, and Miss Helen Smith, of Indiana; his father, Marshall Smith, Crab Orchard; one brother, Lud Smith, Beckley; five sisters, Mrs. W. Y. Miller, East Beckley; Mrs. W. E.. Miller, Shady Spring; Mrs. Earl Tolbert, Crab Orchard, Mrs. Nora Harvey, Beckley, and Mrs. Lottie Maynor, of Oceana.
Burial Followed in Sunset Memorial Park.
