Harold "Bud" Allison, 80, died Sunday Oct. 6, 2013 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He enjoyed collecting records, golf and racing. He was an avid cook and baker, since his days in the Army. Bud was a people person. He loved to socialize, talk with people and he never met a stranger.
He was employed with RCA as a supervisor for 43 years; retiring in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Woessner) Allison of Greenwood, two children, Al Allison of Greenwood and Barry(Sarah) Allison of Indianapolis, three step-children, Debbie (Tim) Johnson of Greenwood, Roger (Glenda) Kuhn of Florida and Vanessa (Gene) Pettijohn of Shoals, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ester (South) Allison, brother, William Allison and sister, Juanita Martin.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday Oct.10, 2013 at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. Hwy 31 North. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Entombment will be Friday Oct. 11, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Floral Park cemetery in Indianapolis.
