Edna Mae Brown beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with the Lord October 6, 2013 at the age of 95. She was born March 21, 1918 to Roy and Ida Bell (Luttrell) Murray who preceded her in death. Edna and Jeff traveled 49 out of 50 states. She was a Life Member of Women's Auxiliary VFW Post 157. She worked numerous years at Country Shopper Grocery and Meat Market. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jeff B. Brown, son Beauford Murray McCarter, brother Remson E. Murray, brother -in-law Doyle Welch, daughter-in-law Wanda Faye McCarter and grandson Mark A. McCarter. She is survived by her son, James M. McCarter; sisters, Mabel Jane Welch; sister-in-law, Lucille Murray; 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren. SERVICES Visitation will be held from 5-8 Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2013 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with interment to follow at Bandera Cemetery.
