MATTHEW LEE PARKS. 48, died Thursday, June 6, 2013 in the Salem Hospital. He was born on August 23, 1964 in Dallas, Oregon the son of Elwin Wayne and Georgia Anne Riedell Parks. He graduated from the Dallas High School in the class of 1983. While attending Chemeketa Community College, he and several others were recruited by Boeing Company. He started out as a welder and became a machinist. He worked for Boeing for 26 years in the Gresham plant. He lived in Gresham, Colton/Estacada area and Salem. He enjoyed fishing and hunting especially in the Snake River area.

He is survived his parents Wayne and Georgia Parks of Dallas, brothers Kerry Parks of Salem and Larry Parks of Dallas along with several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 12th in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Thursday, June 13th also in the mortuary. Interment will follow in the Dallas Cemetery.
