Roxie was born to Orval and Elsie Fleener Gilispie. She died at the IU Health and Hospice House on Wednesday. She was a graduate of Unionville High School, a homemaker and was a member of the North Central Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling and was very proud to have traveled to all fifty states.
Survivors include sons, James and Dan Joe, daughters Carolyn Sue and Lou Ann, a sister, Thelma, five grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Allen, a son Davy, brothers, Alfred, John and an infant brother Charles.
Services will be at noon Firday at Allen Funeal Home, with one hour of visitation prior to services.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Honduras Mission in care of North Central Church of Christ.
