HOLT, HARRY, 82, of Main St., Harrisville, died January 5th at Pine Grove Health Center.
He was the husband of Velma (Young) Holt.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Hubert and Elizabeth A. (Green) Holt. He had lived in Harrisville since 1948, wintering in Ft. Myers, FL.
Harry was a textile manager at Worcester Textile of North Providence for 11 years, retiring in 1984. Formerly he was a manager at the Stillwater Worsted Mill for 28 years.
Harry was a former deacon and a member of the board of trustees at Berean Baptist Church.
He was a 50-year member of Ionic Lodge #28 F&AM, Valley of Providence, the Palestine Shrine, and the Order of Jestors.
He was a graduate of the RI School of Design, specializing in textiles.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother and four nephews.
