Ronnie Lee Griffin, 52, of Connersville, died Friday, October 4, 2013, at Fayette Regional Health System.
Ronnie was born in Batesville, July 17, 1961, to Alexander and Betty Swampson Griffin and attended Connersville High School. He was employed as a stone mason his entire life and had constructed many projects in the area including the Home-A-Rama in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ronnie liked to work on cars and loved to be outdoors, fishing and hunting ginseng. He was an ordained minister.

Ronnie is survived by his fiancé: Sheila Adams of Connersville; his children: Keysha Smith of Louisville, Kentucky and Devon Coleman-Griffin of Connersville; his siblings and their spouses: Anthony Griffin, Lloyd Griffin and Jenny, James Griffin, Christine Griffin Alvey, all of Connersville; Warren Miles Griffin of Ohio, Esther Smallwood and James of Oldenburg, Wilma Mansfield and Paul of Ft. Wayne; nephews and nieces, including, Paula, Tuesday and Crystal.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by several brothers, several sisters and a grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Lick Creek Cemetery.
