GALESBURG _ Charles Ivan Burrows, 57, of 2149 Morena Drive, formerly of Canton died at 8:41 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 1991, in the
emergency room at Illini Hospital in Silvis.
Born Dec. 11, 1933, in Fulton County to Mose F. and Hazel Calhoun Burrows, he married Elaine Probyn on Jan. 30, 1956, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother and two daughters, Deb Williams and Rhonda Starcevich, all of Canton; one son, Charles F. of Galesburg; two sisters, Norma Deakin of Galesburg and Betty Eggars of Peoria; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a Korean War Air Force veteran and a construction worker.
He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Canton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, with Pastor Anne Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the memorial home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Canton.
