Joseph Cory Reese, our beloved husband, father and friend, age 38, passed away Monday May 7, 2001 due to heart failure.
He was born on May 9, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joe Reese and Beverly Klein. Cory was the oldest of six children. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1980.
Married his high school sweetheart, Linda Sue McCaffree. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a very loving and devoted husband and father to their seven wonderful children. Cory enjoyed camping, fishing and jetskiing with his family. He was very involved in the scouting program and was a fun loving scout leader. Family and friends enjoyed his sense of humor and generosity. He was a successful business owner of Trampoline World and Alta Motors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by wife Linda; children, Kimberly, Brock, Spencer, Jason, Jacob, Kaylie and Lindsey; parents, Joe Reese and Beverly Klein; sisters, Tammy, Debbie, Candy, and Dori; brother Carlan and grandparents, William and Afton Klein. He was preceded in death by his grandma Ann Zagarich.
Funeral services Saturday, May 12th, 11 am at the Eastridge 3rd Ward. 12270 S. 1190 E. Draper, UT. Friends and family may call at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary/Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 E. Sandy, UT on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Sat. at the ward one hour prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
