Survivors include his two daughters, Lynn Porter of Davenport and Carla P. of Clinton, Iowa; a son and daughter in law, Benny and Pat Hyslope of Davenport, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mae and his good friend Jim Thiering.
