Anne J. Baumgartner, 77, of Burnsville and formerly of Bemidji died Nov. 2, 1995 at Ebenezer Ridges Care Center in Burnsville. Funeral services were at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage. A graveside service is planned for Holy Cross Cemetery in Bemidji.

Mrs. Baumgartner was born Jan. 11, 1918 in Great Falls, MT, to Martin and Anne J. (O'Neill) Durkan. She attended the College of St. Catherine in the Twin Cites, and then returned to Montana. She married Richard M. Baumgartner May 22, 1943 at Great Falls. They lived in Bemidji for several years and, after his death, she moved in 1989 to Burnsville.

She is survived by four daughters, Marcia Sue (Jerome) Wilkowski of Vienna, VA, Shelley Anne (Steven) Machacek of Northville, MI, Mary Elizabeth (Stanton) Sawdey of Burnsville and Robyn Lynn (James) Gaard of Woodbury, and two brothers, Martin (Lolly) Durkan and Thomas (Ruth) Durkan, both in Washington state.
