DIES ON WAY FOR GROCERIES

Adelman B. Johnson,70 107 N.Grandview was found dead in the yard at 1601 E. Fifth at 7 am, Tuesday. Death was apparently followed a stroke. Mr. Johnson left home Monday night to cash a check and to buy groceries and succumed while walking to the store. His body still in kneeling position was not found until a passerby noted the still form Tuesday morning. Coroner G. A. Chickering made an investigation and said there was no possibility of foul play.
Mr.Johnson had lived here 45 years. He was born March 4,1877 in Decatur, Ill. Surviving are his widow Mrs.Lizzie Johnson,five daughters, Mrs.Vivan Deeds, 1804 N.Flurry, Mrs. Beulah Christman, 1157 E.Fourth, Mrs.Charles Dunn, Fremont,Neb. Mrs.William Reed, Los Angeles and Hester Johnson of the home,two sons, Chester Johnson of the home and E.R.Johnson,Wichita and a brother D.E.Johnson, Wathens.
