Louise S. Nolley, 86, of Hamburg, died Sunday, Oct. 9, at Ashley Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Ashley County, a retired insurance executive at the Nolley Insurance Co., a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of United Methodist Women and the widow of Guy Nolley.
She is survived by two sons, James S. Nolley of Crossett and the Rev. Don Nolley of Benton; a daughter, Ida Ann Veazey of Hamburg; a brother Jack N. Sanders, of Shell Knob, Mo.; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 10, at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Don Eubanks, the Rev. Bob Scott and the Rev. Bob Regnier officiating. Pallbearers were John Spivey, Bob Davis, R. E. Holloway, Jessie Harrison, Charles Smith and Richard Hughes. Honorary pallbearers were members of her Sunday School class.
Burial was in Hamburg Cemetery under direction of Jones-Burnett Funeral Home of Hamburg.
