Arthur Malet played character roles in such films as Disney's Mary Poppins, Norman Jewison's In the Heat of the Night, Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, John Carpenter's Halloween, Warren Beatty's Dick Tracy and Steven Spielberg's Hook. His voice can be heard in Don Bluth's animated films The Secret of NIMH and Anastasia and in Disney's The Black Cauldron. Malet made many appearances on American television, including the series "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "The Rifleman", "Adventures in Paradise", "The Donna Reed Show", "The Untouchables", "Dr. Kildare", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color", "The Andy Griffith Show", "The Fugitive", "Bewitched", "Bonanza", "Gunsmoke", "MacGyver", "St. Elsewhere", "21 Jump Street" and "Dallas".
