Graveside services for Deva Hendershot, 66, of Portales, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Portales Cemetery. The Rev. Dick Ross will officiate.

Mrs. Hendershot died Thursday, Dec. 17, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born Oct. 1, 1932, in Follett, Texas. She moved to Portales in 1943 and remained in the area most of the remainder of her life. In 1947, she married Jack Don Farrar. She ws later married to Paul Hendershot. For a number of years she worked as a waitress in Hobbs, Clovis and finally at Marie's in Portales.
Survivors include one son, Donnie Farrar of Alhambra, Calif.; one brother, Basil Hoard of Hobbs; one sisterm Dempsie Kleemann of Amarillo, Texas; and two grandchildren.
