DINWIDDIE, Va. William Thomas "W.T" Allison Sr., age 74, passed away at his home, Friday October 4, 2013. He was a proud veteran of 2nd Infantry Division and 3rd Armored Division, United States Army. W.T. was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Sarah Allison; and brother, Maynard D. Allison. He is survived by his wife, Judy Allison; children, Angela and husband Thomas Chappell Jr., Martin and wife Sandee Allison, Steven and wife Kim Allison, William Allison Jr. and wife Amanda Allison; grandchildren, Denise, T.W., Austin, Carter, Jessica, Emma, Hannah, and Douglas; sister, Sue Roark and husband Leon "Dee" Roark; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2013, at the Allison Family Cemetery in Saltville, VA.
