"Word has been here of the death of Mrs. Daisy Work Smith, who passed away at her home in Henrietta, Okla., at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
"Mrs. Smith, wife of J. A. Smith, deceased, is a former resident of this county, but had been away from here for a number of years. She was a sister of the late Mollie (Mrs. Tony) McDonald, who died here several years ago [1931] ; and of Miss Carrie Work, a well known school teacher of the county."
"Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday morning at 9 o'clock in Henrietta, after which the body will be brought to McKinney for burial in the family lot in Pecan Grove Cemetery. The funeral cortege is expected to arrive here between one and two o'clock Thursday afternoon.
"The Crouch-Moore Funeral Home of this city will assist with the graveside service."
