Thomas A. Baumann, age 57, of 314 Riverview Drive, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, March 12, 2012, at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center after a short battle with cancer.
Thomas was born on February 17, 1955, in Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Irene (Zwicke) Baumann. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1974 and worked at the Manitowoc Company. He loved spring and the return of Brewers baseball.
Survivors include one daughter: Kayla Baumann, Milwaukee; one grandson: Amari, Milwaukee; one brother and sister-in-law: Anton (Patricia) Baumann, Manitowoc: sisters: Karen Burkhart, Cedarburg; Judy (Wes) Emond, Manitowoc; Patricia (James) Wilda, Appleton; Laura (David) Krcma, Manitowoc; Sue Lynn (Dennis) Zucchi, Manitowoc; special friend: Lynn and her dog, Misty. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
A private family memorial service was held at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Deacon Al Boeldt officiated. Burial of his cremated remains has taken place at Evergreen Cemetery.
