Aza Beall was the son of Zachariah Beall and Rebecca Tyson who were origionally from Maryland and settled in Iredell Co. NC in the early 1800's Aza was a physician, he married Susan Remson and was the father of 3 children: Benton Remson Beall b, 1826; Rev. Benjamin Lean Beall b. 1827; and Harriet Beall b. 1828.
