Paula V. Hill, 72, of Meridian, left this earthly world at her home on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
Paula was born to Paul L. Smith and Garvene V. (Reimer) Smith, in Lawton, Oklahoma. They then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she met Jerry Hill. They married in 1966 and then raised two fabulous daughters.
Paula was very creative and artistic. She loved making things for people. She was also very adventurous. She loved skiing, whitewater rafting, camping, and scuba diving. If anyone asked her if she wanted to try something new, she was always excited. Paula never gave up on trying to provide for her family, and that is one of the biggest lessons she taught us. Our family loved to laugh, and we had many great memories together.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Garvene Smith, and her husband Jerry L. Hill.
She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Warner-Evans (Richard), and Jamie Wright; three grandsons, that she loved very much, Bradley Warner, Shon Warner (Liz), and Jeremy Wright.
We are very grateful that Paula is free from her physical limitations that she struggled with all her life, but we will always miss her laughter and her smile.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Ten Mile Christian Church, 3500 W. Franklin Road in Meridian.
