Hugo W. Reindl, 53, of 509 South 25th street died Friday afternoon following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic church, the Rev. Martin Jaekels officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Reindl was born in 1895 in Manitowoc and was employed at the Whitehouse Milk company. On Sept. 23, 1918 he married Susan Vanderbloemen.

Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Roman Wisniewski, Mrs. Henry Hartlaub of Manitowoc, Elaine and Rita, at home; sons Gregory, Hugh, and Jerome, at home; two brothers, Joseph of Muscatine, Iowa, and Frank of Madison; sister, Mrs. James Wilhelm of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren.

Mr. Reindl was a member of the Holy Name society and Catholic Order of Foresters. He served in World War I from September, 1917 to February, 1919. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7 o'clock this evening.
