Abbie Gail Henderson, 83, Nancy, died Saturday at the home of her son, Rev. Frank Henderson, after an illness of several months.

She was born in Nancy on March 27, 1888, the daughter of Peter Sumner and Mary Jane Miller, both deceased.

She was married to the late John Wesley Henderson.

Survivors include ten children, Zeal Henderson, Streator, Ill., Rowena McGlaun, Dayton, Ohio, Marie Carter, St. Helens, Oregon, Lawrence Henderson, Tipp City, Ohio, Dennie Henderson, Sidney, Ohio, Estill Henderson, Dayton, Ohio, Carthel Henderson, West Somerset, Leo Henderson, Rev. Frank Henderson, and Clarence Henderson, all of Nancy; and one brother, Sidney Sumner, LeRoy, Ill.

Also surviving are 47 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a housewife and lived here all her life and was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church.

The funeral was conducted Monday at the White Oak Baptist Church with Elder Walter Jones officiating.

Burial was in White Oak Cemetery.

Pulaski Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
