BERRY, Ida Myrle (Ellis) of Sunnyvale,
born March 6, 1902, passed away June 18, 2005.

There are not many people I know who have a life’s work to show; one who has planted many seeds, created many masterpieces, seen & walked the path of Jesus, taught His word to the young, has loved, been loved; shared her talent with the Sunnyvale Garden Club. She was a charter member of Long Creek Baptist Church. A woman like no other I have ever met. This woman, of course, is our mother, grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother. Married to R. S. Berry for 65 years, now deceased. He & his brother, Sherman, built and owned Berry Bros. Machinery Co.

Survived by son, Dale Berry & wife, Dorothy; 3 grandchildren, Susan Secord & husband, Rick, Robin Berry & wife, Cindy, Mark Berry & wife, Liz; five great grandchildren, Jayme & husband, Clay, Casey Madewell, Robert, Lisa & Leslie Berry; 3 great great grandchildren, Aerial, Philip & Michael; sister, It was Mattye Lou Bohart of Houston; many nieces nephews and many friends and neighbors in Sunnyvale.

She fought a good fight, lived a beautiful life. We will miss her every day, but we know she’s at peace with our Lord, which was her desire. Lovingly referred to as “Granny” by her family. You will be missed.

Services will be 2:00PM Monday June 20, 2005, at Long Creek Baptist Church, 501 Long Creek Rd., Sunnyvale, TX Bro. Don Ivey officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home
Sunday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
