SIMONIS, WILLIAM HENRY, 73, of Tarpon Springs, died Monday (May 3, 1999) at home. He came here in 1987 from his native Spencer, Mass. He retired as a carpenter with Marcellio Construction, Worcester, Mass. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Tarpon Springs, VFW Post 10167, and Holiday Council 118 Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, both of Spencer. Survivors include his wife, Lillian E.; two sons, David, Dayville, Conn., and James,Gainesville; three daughters, Janice Vaslofsky and Debra Cassanelli, both of Spencer, and Shirley Bovenzi, Leicester, Mass.; five sisters, Hilda Moranik, Vira Clingan and Nelly Litavich, all of California, Agnes Tochy, Worcester, Mass., and Helen Stehman, Leicester; a brother, Joseph, Spencer; and 10 grandchildren. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Tarpon Avenue Chapel, Tarpon Springs.
