Donald A. Ellefsen, 72, of Bensenville, formerly of Elmhurst died October 16, 2003. He was a veteran, participating in the U.S. Marine Corps-Korean Conflict. He was the loving husband of the late Angela, nee Buffa; cherished father of Dawn Ellefsen and the late Jacob "Jake" Ellefsen; dear son of Mae and the late Jacob "Jack" Ellefsen; beloved brother of Paul (Barbara) Ellefsen and Dean (Jan) Ellefsen; fond uncle of many. Visitation will be at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst, where friends may visit on Monday, 3 to 9 p.m. Lying in state Tuesday 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Elmhurst Presbyterian Church, 367 Spring Rd., Elmhurst. Interment will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois.
