Born January 27, 1937 in Catawba County he was the son of Cleatus Edgar Bolick and Ruth Chapman Bolick.
He was a member of Miller's Lutheran Church of Hickory. He worked for Duke Power for 33 years and held several positions as a lineman and his last position was supervisor.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Jean Mosteller Bolick, brothers Larry Joe Bolick and Cleatus Danny Bolick.
He is survived by his wife of 29 yearsk, sons, and four grandchildren, and one new great grandson. Also, brother-in-law and special nephew.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Miller's Lutheran Church of Hickory.
Private burial will follow at Woodlawn cemetery.
