Charles P. Bishop, 68, retired Washington County farmer, died at 1:45 a.m. yesterday in St. Joseph Infirmary. He lived at 4548 Preston Highway. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minnie J. Bishop; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Shewmaker, Springfield, Ky., and Mrs. Nellie Shawler; two sons, Thomas and James Bishop; two brothers, Erastus and Harvey Bishop, both of Washington County; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. , The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway.
