Helen R. Emel, age 94 of Allentown, PA, formerly of Woodstown, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Country Meadows of Allentown.
Born in Sharptown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel & Elizabeth (Seagraves) Ridgeway. A homemaker, Mrs. Emel married her husband, Charles, on September 5, 1937 and was married 67 years at the time of his death in 2004.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Janice & Jay Keller of Allentown; her grandchildren, Michael & Shelli Keller of Allentown and Daniel & Sandy Keller of Garnet Valley, PA; and her great-grandchildren, Rachel, Julianna, Andrew, Maggie, Hayley, and Lauren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by several brothers and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 30th in the Sharptown Methodist Cemetery, Church St., Pilesgrove. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Emel's memory may be made to the Haines Neck United Methodist Church, 231 Haines Neck Rd., Salem, NJ 08079.
