Lynn Bartlett Foster passed away on Sept. 26, 2013.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1942, in Mauston, Wis., to Bartlett and Isabel Johnson Foster and grew up and went to school in Winona, Minn.
He joined the Navy in 1963, moved to the West Coast and married Ann Anderson in 1983. He worked in many plywood mills in California and Oregon, worked as an auto mechanic, and had car sales lots in Klamath Falls, Ore. He owned, showed and sold classic cars.
Lynn enjoyed riding motorcycles and racing cars as a young man.
He was in a wheelchair after an accident in 1996, but continued enjoying life. He was always independent, driving, traveling and showing classic cars.
Survivors include Tami (Brad) Walthall, Dana (Dan) Walthall, and Rebecca Johnson, all of Port Orchard, Wash., Pamela Pettingill of Denver, Colo., Tom (Linda) Herin of Morton, Wash., Joy Herin of Bandon, Ore., Barbara Proffitt of Rainier, Wash., Rita Thompson of Bonney Lake, Wash., and Raye Lynn (Jeff) Reynolds of Le Claire, Iowa; step-children Lu-Ann Anderson and Lea Wonser of Plush, Ore., Lauri (Matt) Lehman of Philomath, Ore., and Melissa (Tod) Matthews of Klamath Falls; 34 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
