She was born January 11, 1927, near Ingleside, Ky., in Ballard County to Jack and Lelia Wray Cooper. She was a member of the Kevil United Methodist Church and the Kevil Order of Eastern Star. She worked in retail sales in the Paducah area for many years before moving to warmer climate with her husband, Kermit.

She is survived by her husband, Kermit; one son-in-law, George Wray; one sister, Mary Louise; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, Jake

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lelia Cooper; one daughter, Brenda Martin Wray; one nephew, Jesse Steinbeck; one sister, Marion Cooper; her first husband, Rudy Martin; and her second husband, Bobby Joe Bailey.
