JAMESTOWN - Mr. Frank Whitfield McFadden, 90, resident of 504 Mendenhall Road, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Hospice Home in High Point.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 21, at First Christian Church in High Point. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. McFadden was born March 6, 1917, in Asheville N.C., a son to David W. and Thelma Cutts McFadden. A resident of this area since 1948, he was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and retired from Tidewater Supply Company. He was a member of First Christian Church. In 1997, he married the former Brenda Hall who survives of the home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth G. McFadden and a brother, David McFadden.

Also surviving are two sons, Frank W. McFadden and wife, Jennifer of Greensboro and Michael G. McFadden and wife, Anita of Greensboro; two daughters, Pamela Pace and husband, Gary of Cary and Rosemary Shackleford of King; a step daughter, Peggy Irwin of Jamestown; one sister, Thelma Varner of Burlington; and five grandchildren, James D. Paschal of Cary, Paige Walker of Cary, Stephanie Stewart of King, Taylor Shackleford of Charlotte and Jordan M. McFadden of Greensboro; and six great grandchildren.
