Army Sgt. Audrey Daron Lunsford, 29, of Sardis, Miss.; assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 155th Infantry Regiment, Mississippi Army National Guard, McComb, Miss.; was killed May 23 when his military vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device in Haswa, Iraq. Also killed were Spc. Bryan Edward Barron, Staff Sgt. Saburant Parker and Sgt. Daniel Ryan Varnado. Survivors include his wife, Vangi Cannon Lunsford of Sardis; one daughter, Paris-Audrey McKalyne Lunsford of Sardis; his mother, Martha Brown Lunsford of Sardis; one sister, Donna Green Miller of Guin, Ala.; two brothers, David Smith of Sardis and Danny Green of Russellville, Ark.; his grandmother, Louise Brown of Sardis. He was 29.
