Sarah Jane (Jennie) Weaver, 90, of Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, October 3, 2013 following a brief illness.

Jennie was born on October 8, 1922 in East Earl Township to the late Joseph and Ivy (Bender) Good. Her husband, Arthur B. Weaver died in 2004.

Jennie was a member of the Hinkletown Mennonite Church where she previously served on the kitchen committee. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, gardening and spending time with family. In her early years she worked for the Bollman Hat Company and later at Meadow Brook Farmers Market. She and her husband also cleaned offices at Breathing Services in Ephrata for many years.

Surviving are a son, Lynn G., married to Carol A. (Youndt) Weaver of Ephrata; two grandchildren, Chad A. Weaver married to Jolene (Shimp), Shelby (Weaver) Wagner wife of Dan Wagner, and two great grandchildren Tyler and Kassidy Wagner; a brother Earl B. husband of Emma (Hess) Good of Terre Hill, two sisters: Anna, wife of Earl Hoover of Blue Ball, and Beatrice Brubaker of New Holland.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Lester, Wilmer, Lewis, Howard, Marvin, Warren, Joseph, Harry and a sister Grace.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at 2 p.m. at the Hinkletown Mennonite Church, 2031 Division Hwy., Ephrata with Pastor Glenn Sauder and Chaplain Chester Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from Noon until the time of service. Kindly omit flowers.
