He was the husband of Mary (Kelliher) Christie-Madden.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward Madden and Helen (Fagan) Law-Madden.
Mr. Madden was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 17.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, a stepson, two stepdaughters and 12 grandchildren.
