Beverly A. Wells, 79, of Beloit, WI died at 7:57 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 in her home after a lengthy illness. Born April 30, 1934 in South Beloit to Hiram S. Kramar and Margaret Colby Kramar. A lifelong resident of the Beloit and South Beloit areas. Married Kenneth Eugene Wells in Beloit on May 4, 1957. Beverly was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Beloit, WI; a Girl Scouts and Rangerette leader for many years. She enjoyed camping, campfires, dancing, cooking, and playing games and puzzles. She loved snowmen, Halloween, wearing costumes, holiday decorations and spending time with her family. Graduate of South Beloit High School class of 1952.
Survivors include daughters; Julie Ann (Mark) Wells Giese of Clearwater, Fl, Cindy Sue Wells Nimz of Beloit, WI; Kimberly Marie (Joe) Wells Collins of Roscoe, IL ; grandchildren, Kenny, Megan, Cory, Suzanne, Michaela, Troy, Ronnie, Zach, Alyxandria, Kaleb; great grandchildren, Logan Cyrus; sisters, Alberta Amstutz, Elaine Love, Marilyn Mead; brother, Orin Kramar; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by parents, husband and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral ceremonies will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 in Messiah Lutheran Church, 1531 Townline Ave. Beloit, WI 53511, with Pastor Jason Reed officiating. Burial in Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit. Visitation will be held in McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Friday in the church.
