Dorothy was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on April 28th, 1917, daughter of the late Zivko and Vidosava Bolanovich Adzick. Dorothy was a member of the John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross and Missouri Veterans Home, an election judge official, member of the local garden club, Rainbow Widows Group and the Goldtimers at her Church.
Dorothy was survived by two daughters, Debra (and Dr. John R.) Smart and Barbara Kemper (and Douglas C.) Stiles; one sister, Georgia Glogovac; four grandchildren, Kevin (and April) Smart, Ryan (and Kelsey) Smart, Kimberly Smart, and Andrew Stiles; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zivko and Vidosava Adzick; her husband, Merle E. Kemper, Jr., whom she married in Saint Louis, Missouri on September 14th, 1941; an infant daughter, Pamela Jane Kemper; three brothers, Michael, Nick and John; and two sisters, Betty and Mileva.
Graveside services were held on Monday, October 7th, 2013, at 2:oo p.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in St. Louis, Missouri with Rev. Dr. John R. Shear officiating.
Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
