Mr. Roger Ellis Osborne age 72 of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, October 2 nd . Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 6 th at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Alan Thompson and Matt Barron officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Mr. Osborne was born in Eustis, FL and had been resident of Marietta for 47 years. He was employed as an Architect in Program Management and retired after 45 years. He was a member of Macland Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Cullen and Dorothy "Louise" Osborne and Sister Dorothy Jo Gonser. Surviving are: Wife, Joanne Williams Osborne of Marietta, 2 Daughters, Shannon Osborne (Alan) Thompson of Nashville, TN, Jeanne Osborne (Matt) Barron of Marietta, Brother, Charles (Amy) Osborne of Lutz, FL, 5 grandchildren, Noah, Cade, & Sophie Thompson, Chase & BreeElla Barron and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Ste. 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
