Mr. Bruce Coleman, age 79, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. His Visitation was held 5-8pm Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 11am Monday, September 30, 2013 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Coleman was born in Bruce, MS on August 18, 1934. He loved to be in the serenity of the outdoors fishing. Mr. Coleman was a dedicated Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Visiting with neighbors and sitting outdoors in his swing was something he loved to do. The love for his family, grandchildren and great grandchild will never be forgotten and he will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Coleman and Eva May Pitts Coleman; one sister and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Henson Coleman of Pelahatchie; 2 children, Curtis Coleman (Jeannie) of Pelahatchie and Connie Jean Bryant (Robbie) of Collierville, TN; 3 sisters, Debbie, Patsy, Eunice and John; 3 grandchildren, Kayla Woods (McKenzie), Cameron Coleman and Kimberly Bryant; 1 great grandchild, Myla Paige Woods; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Freddie Rowell, Vince Bynum, Robert Warren, Keith Rhodes, Brent Bowman and Charles Nickles.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Shiloh United Methodist Church, Drive Through Nativity Scene.
