Sue Collister, 55, of Lakewood, formerly of New York and Elyria, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at her home unexpectedly. She was born April 24, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Elyria where she graduated from high school. She also attended Wooster College and graduated from Ohio University. Sue worked as a receptionist at the New York Hilton Hotel for many years and held various administrative positions with various companies.

Ms. Collister is survived by her aunt, Pat Black of Avon Lake; three brothers, Scott of Panama City, Florida, Bruce of Petaluma, California and Mark of New York, New York; and three cousins, Dallas, Douglas and Jennifer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geoffrey V. and Phyllis Collister (nee Black).

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, 440-933-3202, Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 12:30 P.M. until time of service at 1:30 P.M. Reverend Dr. Kelly Brill will officiate.

Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
