She was a Marine wife and homemaker most of her life. She was an avid QVC shopper, loved watching reality TV court dramas, Matlock and Gunsmoke. As the matriarch of the family she had many stories and a wonderful sense of humor.
She is preceded by her husband of 53 years, Otis D. Hale. Christine is survived by her brother, Willard E. Wilson of Bolling Green, KY; two sisters, Ilene W. Birsch of Chesapeake, VA and Mary W. Nolan of Springfield, VA; and many nieces and nephews all over the United States.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 1 to 2:00 PM. Services will be conducted immediately after at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home chapel.
A private family interment will be conducted Monday, October 7, 2013, at 8:30 AM Friday at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery
