Rosalie (Elliott) Crawford
Rosalie passed away April 23, 2006 in Sedro Woolley. She was born in Sultan, WA to Thomas and Rose Elliott. Her family moved to Skagit County when Rosalie was three.
Following her graduation from Mount Vernon High School, she married John Russell Crawford, Jr. in the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. They were married for 58 years at the time of his death in April 2001. Rosalie was a well known waitress for many years; people would eat where she worked just to be served by her.
She is survived by her children: Roger (Sally) Crawford of Sedro Woolley, Pam Johnson of Mount Vernon and Judy (Marvin) Hall of Mount Vernon; grandchildren: Rob (Jodie) Jahnke, Jim (Jenni) Crawford, Gary Mason, Jennifer Wilson and Aaron Pasek; great-grandchildren: Sean Jahnke, Andrew Rayfield, Jorden Jahnke, Holly Crawford, Cameron Crawford and Cyle Wilson; brothers: Jim (Lucille) Elliott and Gene (Peg) Elliott; sister-in-law: Mary Eslinger; numerous nieces and nephews. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson: Dennis Eugene Crawford. Rosalie loved her family.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law. She will be deeply missed. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2006, 2:00 pm at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Rev.
Ron Deegan of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon will officiate. A reception will follow in the Hawthorne Reception Room. Memorials may be made in Rosalie's name to Skagit Hospice, PO Box 1376, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 or a charity of your choice.
