Charles McWhorter, 49, of North Zulch passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2008. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2008 at First Baptist Church in North Zulch. Doug Jones will officiate. Charles was born January 13, 1959 in Bryan, Texas to Harrison E. McWhorter and June (Thorlakson) Conrad. He was preceded in death by his father and grandmothers, Gertrude Thorlakson and Bessie McWhorter. Survivors include his mother and step-father, E.W. and June Conrad; brother, Jeff McWhorter and wife, Marilyn; sister, Paulette Bankich and husband, Richard; nephews, Cody and Justin McWhorter; niece, Kristyn McWhorter; step-brothers, Scott Bliek and wife, Shannon, Shawn Bliek and wife, Tammy, Will Conrad and wife, Estella and Kenny Conrad and wife, Susan; step-sister, Gena Langley and husband, Donnie; and step-mother, Darlene McWhorter; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
